Job summary

Connectify HR is seeking a Payroll Business Partner to join our team. You will manage client payrolls across multiple states, ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, handle garnishments, and deliver accurate payroll fulfillment daily.

Responsibilities include client implementation, payroll processing, and collaboration with HR and Client Experience to resolve issues. A Bachelor's degree or 5–10 years in the PEO industry are preferred, with onsite or hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field; or 3-5 years of equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of customer-facing experience.
• 5-10 years' experience in the PEO industry.
• FPC or CPP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and follow payroll best practices, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws.
• Manage payrolls for clients of varying size and complexity in multiple states, providing timely, accurate delivery of client payrolls.
• Manage employee garnishments.
• Complete client payroll fulfillment functions on a daily basis.
• Respond to client inquiries in timely and professional manner.
• Develop and control all tasks related to payroll, including payroll-related changes to the HRIS. Ensure compliance with payroll QA program.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in projects as assigned.
• Collaborate with other departments on day-to-day functions and special projects.
• Ensure timely communication to HR and Client Experience partner in the event of client-facing issues.
