Data Clean LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Operations Specialist to ensure accurate, on-time payroll processing while validating data across Paycom, ERP, and HRIS systems. You will support benefits, audits, and documentation as the company evolves its payroll workflows.

The role requires 3+ years in payroll operations, strong Excel skills, and the ability to troubleshoot discrepancies, adapt to policy changes, and maintain confidential information with professionalism.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in payroll operations, benefits administration, or related data processing.
• Experience with payroll systems (Paycom, HRIS, ERP).
• Strong Excel skills for data reconciliation and reporting.
• Ability to validate data across multiple sources and resolve discrepancies.
• Detail-oriented with confidentiality and professional communication.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly/biweekly payroll processing in Paycom, including deductions and bonuses.
• Validate payroll and time data across systems to identify discrepancies before finalization.
• Research and resolve payroll exceptions and missing data.
• Assist with payroll-related system changes and new earning codes.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, operations to address data issues.
• Maintain accurate payroll and benefits records across systems.
• Assist with payroll and benefits audits and ad hoc data requests.
