Promera, based in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Payroll & Benefits Operations Specialist to manage payroll, benefits, data validation, and system integrations. You will collaborate with Finance, IT, and field leaders to ensure accurate payments, timely reporting, and compliant processes in a dynamic environment.

The role emphasizes improving payroll workflows, adapting to system changes, and building documentation as processes evolve.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll operations, benefits administration, or related data-processing experience.
• Experience with payroll, HRIS, ERP, timekeeping, or workforce management systems.
• Strong Excel skills including filtering, lookups, and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly/biweekly payroll processing in Paycom with various earning and deduction codes.
• Validate payroll data across Paycom, Assignar, Acumatica, and reporting tools to identify discrepancies.
• Research and resolve payroll exceptions, missing data, and incorrect earning codes to ensure accuracy.
• Support benefits administration, enrollments, terminations, and life events.
• Maintain accurate payroll and benefits records in Paycom and related systems.
