Job summary

Veritext is seeking a Payroll Manager, North America to lead payroll operations across the United States and Canada. You will own biweekly Dayforce payroll, ensure accuracy and compliance, and partner with People and Finance to drive improvements and smooth integrations for acquisitions.

You will supervise the payroll team, manage audits and tax reporting, and stay ahead of federal, state, provincial, and local requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of payroll experience including multi-state U.S. and Canadian payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance; CPP preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll end-to-end for U.S. and Canada, biweekly Dayforce processing.
• Lead payroll tax reporting and compliance across jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, Legal, and vendors.
• Develop payroll team and relationships with tax agencies.
