Mount Prospect Academy is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations for a growing nonprofit serving youth and families across New Hampshire and Vermont. The role partners with HR, Benefits, and Finance to ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance.

The ideal candidate will manage payroll systems, improve processes, and serve as the payroll and HRIS SME, with a strong focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, HR, or related field preferred.
• Three to five years of payroll/accounting/HRIS experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with Paycor and Sage Intacct or similar accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all payroll processing activities.
• Process payroll transactions including salaries, wages, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and deductions.
• Maintain payroll systems for accuracy and timeliness.
• Process updates for new hires, terminations, and compensation changes.
