Qualifications

• 8+ years in payroll administration including cyclical processing of payroll and benefits; tax remittance; benefits administration.
• 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience including coaching and performance development.
• Advanced skills in developing and manipulating complex spreadsheets with macros and external links.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate agency-wide payroll processing for all employees.
• Review and approve payroll transactions and related benefit payments.
• Design internal control systems and ensure GAAP guidance compliance.
• Advise leadership on payroll policy changes and risks.
• Monitor changes in federal/state payroll regulations and adapt processes.
• Supervise a six-person payroll team and develop staff.
