ID.me seeks an experienced Payroll Manager to own end-to-end payroll for a growing multi-state workforce. You will collaborate with People Ops, Finance, and Legal to ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing as the company scales.

The role requires 5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state and equity payroll, with strong regulatory knowledge and attention to detail. On-site five days in the US offices. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience with lead role
• Hands-on multi-state U.S. payroll for 300+ employees
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regs and wage laws
• Experience with equity compensation in payroll
• SOX and internal controls familiarity
• Excellent communication and discretion

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll cycles for U.S. employees across states
• Ensure regulatory compliance and timely processing
• Handle garnishments, bonuses, and equity events
• Reconcile GL and partner on month-end close
• Manage payroll providers and system administration
• Audit benefits deductions and 401(k) contributions
• Assist with year-end payroll processes
• Identify process improvements and automation
