Job summary

Everytable in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensure compliance with federal and California laws, and manage the company’s ADP TotalSource system.

Reporting to the Office of the General Counsel, you will collaborate with the Finance team, handle benefit plans, audits, data integrity, and timely (off-cycle) payroll, while traveling to multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting is required.
• Based in Los Angeles, CA region.
• 5+ years of progressively more responsibility in payroll.
• Proficiency with ADP TotalSource PEO system.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll rules and regulations.
• Ability to travel to Everytable locations in LA region.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing; bi-weekly payroll; utilize ADP TotalSource PEO to ensure timely payroll complying with wage and hour laws.
• Manage benefit plans, enrollments, changes, terminations; ensure deductions processed; input payroll data including garnishments, vacation, sick time, insurance, and 401(k).
• Maintain payroll records with attendance, leaves, and personal information.
• Process hiring, promotions, terminations; ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in payroll systems.
• Collaborate with finance to integrate payroll and employee data.
• Conduct payroll audits; ensure compliance with labor laws and tax regulations; prepare payroll reports.
• Work on-site at Everytable’s Los Angeles location at least once per week.
