Job summary

We are seeking a Senior Payroll Manager for a global life sciences organization based in New York, NY. You will lead end-to-end biweekly payroll for US and Canadian employees and ensure accurate inputs, deductions, and reconciliations across multiple entities.

You will oversee 401(k) administration, payroll journal entries, accruals, and tax liabilities while maintaining data integrity in ADP Workforce Now. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 5+ years of US multi-state and Canada payroll processing experience.
• Experience with payroll-related benefits and 401(k) deductions.
• Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now.
• Exposure managing payroll in a multi-entity environment.
• Payroll certifications such as CPP, FPC, PCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end biweekly payroll processing for US and Canadian employees.
• Review and validate payroll inputs before each payroll cycle.
• Manage payroll-related benefit deductions, eligibility changes, leave-related pay impacts, and reconciliations with benefit carriers, brokers, and vendors.
• Oversee payroll aspects of 401(k) administration.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll journal entries, payroll-related accruals, tax liabilities, benefit deductions, retirement contributions, and relevant balance-sheet accounts.
• Maintain payroll systems and data integrity.

We are working with the Finance Director of a global life sciences organization based in New York, NY. They are looking for a dynamic Senior Payroll Manager to join their organization and lead the function. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead end-to-end biweekly payroll processing for US and Canadian employees
• Review and validate payroll inputs before each payroll cycle
• Manage payroll-related benefit deductions, eligibility changes, leave-related pay impacts, and reconciliations with benefit carriers, brokers, and vendors
• Oversee payroll aspects of 401(k) administration

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 5+ years of multi-state (US) and multi-province (Canada) Payroll processing experience
• Experience supporting payroll-related benefits and 401(k) deductions
• Working knowledge of ADP Workforce now
• Exposure managing payroll in a multi-entity environment
• Payroll Certification such as CPP, FPC, PCP

COMPENSATION:

$140,000 - $150,000 + 10% discretionary bonus
