Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Payroll Manager in Mukilteo, WA to lead full-cycle payroll, ensure accuracy and compliance, and serve as the go-to expert for complex payroll operations.

You will partner with finance leadership on payroll strategy, reporting, and process improvements, contribute to an ERP/payroll system conversion, and drive controls, efficiencies, and accuracy across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive full-cycle payroll experience.
• Public sector payroll experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax filings, reconciliations, compliance, and payroll accounting.
• Experience with Eden software and/or CentralSquare Finance Enterprise is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage full-cycle payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Review payroll records, timesheets, earnings, deductions, and tax reporting.
• Manage payroll tax filings, payments, reconciliations, and payroll-related general ledger accounts.
• Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues, discrepancies, and benefit reconciliations.
• Prepare payroll-related journal entries, reporting, and support audit activities.
• Lead payroll process improvements and ERP/payroll system conversion efforts.
