Buckner is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Dallas, TX, offering a hybrid work model. You will handle end-to-end payroll, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, and serve as a lead for the payroll team.

Strong Dayforce experience is preferred and multi-entity payroll for 500+ employees is required. The role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication across departments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years payroll and payroll-related tax administration experience.
• Experience with multi-state and multi-entity payroll for 500+ team members.
• Knowledge of Texas state tax laws; others preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage bi-weekly payroll processing and disbursement.
• Batch and input payroll data for all Buckner corporations.
• Prepare and balance payrolls prior to submission.
• Audit changes entered by field PO reps for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare management reports (bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, year-end).
• Communicate with Operations, HR, accounting, and exec management.
