Job summary

ADP is seeking a Payroll Implementation Consultant to continue the ADP relationship after a sale and to enable the first interaction between mid-sized business clients and ADP's payroll and HR solutions. You will onboard clients, analyze their existing systems, and guide them toward the best ADP solution, ensuring long-term success for employees from paychecks to health benefits and beyond.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a client service, customer service, or systems integration environment.
• Basic project management skills.
• Availability to work overtime hours during peak seasons.
• College degree is a plus but not required; military experience with teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through is acceptable.
• Payroll processing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Onboard Clients – create exceptional onboarding experiences, help clients develop the skills and confidence to use our products with ease through expertise and relationship-building.
• Implement ADP Technologies – consult with clients, analyze existing systems, interface requirements, and business processes; incorporate new processes, tools, and approaches when recommending and implementing the ADP solution.
• Partner Internally – collaborate with ADP associates in sales and customer service and exchange routine information with client project team members, including priorities, timeliness, and issues as they arise.
• Multi-Task & Communicate – work on multiple time-sensitive projects and follow-up items simultaneously; share essential information with clients and ADP teams.
• Schedule Management – adhere to a daily schedule and organize yourself to handle a high volume of inbound calls; daily phone time may increase during peak seasons like the close of the calendar year.

As a Payroll Implementation Consultant, you will carry the ADP relationship forward after a sale and enable the first interaction between mid‑sized business clients and ADP's industry‑leading payroll and HR solutions. You’ll build relationships with clients and seamlessly implement ADP’s technologies to ensure long‑term success for their employees, from paychecks to health benefits and beyond.

You spend the day ensuring clients are comfortable using ADP’s products and services, partnering with them to learn their business needs, analyzing existing systems and processes, and guiding them toward the best solution for their unique situation.
