Job summary

MBG, a St. Louis–based general contractor, is looking for an HR Operations Analyst to own payroll cycles, ensure accuracy and compliance, and serve as the interface with external partners for the Workday environment.

The role requires hands-on Workday experience, cross‑functional collaboration, and the discipline to protect sensitive information while continuously improving processes. It is an onsite, full-time position in our St. Louis office.

Qualifications

• Three to five years in HR operations.
• Hands-on Workday experience.
• Multi-state payroll experience preferred.
• Union fringe reporting and payroll tax familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll processing and compliance across cycles.
• Maintain Workday as the system of record and manage external partners.
• Respond to Team Member pay, benefits, and time-off inquiries.
• Coordinate enrollment, leaves, and benefits with partners.
• Process hires, changes, and separations with accurate data.
• Maintain filings and support audits with clean documentation.
