The ideal candidate has 2+ years payroll processing and HR generalist experience, strong Excel skills, and solid knowledge of state and federal payroll laws.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years payroll processing experience.
• 2+ years HR Generalist or Specialist experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal payroll laws and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with payroll via standard operating systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Nice to have SAP knowledge and time-keeping best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manages the payroll cycle workflow and ensures accurate calculations in Excel.
• Processes weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly expatriate payroll.
• Enters and maintains personal master data in the HRIS (wages, withholdings, direct deposit).
• Maintains employee payroll records.
• Verifies timesheets and clock data for policy compliance.
• Creates attendance audit reports and corrects payroll prior to processing.
• Provides customized reports to Headquarters, Finance, and Production as requested.
• Performs reconciliations and handles ACH rejects.
• Supports new hires with required state/federal forms.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
