Job summary

Fields Auto Group is seeking detail-oriented payroll professionals to join our team. You will assist the Payroll Manager with processing weekly and semimonthly payrolls, onboarding new hires, and maintaining accurate records in our HRIS and CDK system.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Basic understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive employee information.
• Good communication skills to interact with employees and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Enter weekly and semimonthly payrolls into CDK and related payroll journal entries.
• Update employee payroll records with changes like addresses, salary adjustments, and accruals.
• Maintain employee payroll files, ensuring documents are properly documented and organized.
• Assist onboarding of new hires and completion of onboarding process in the payroll system.
• Assist managers and employees with onboarding steps, including I-9 completion and E-Verify as needed.
• Set up new hires in the HR & Payroll system after onboarding is completed.
• Keep payroll-related filing up to date.
• Provide employment verifications.
• Assist employees with payroll-related questions.
• Assist employees with Paylocity user account issues, accessing paystubs and year-end tax forms.
