School Union 69 in mid-coast Maine is seeking a full-time Payroll/HR Coordinator for year-round work. You will handle payroll submissions, tax payments, MainePERS reporting, and all contract generation while supporting daily HR inquiries.

Ideal candidates have a related degree or equivalent experience, strong communication and computer skills, knowledge of payroll processes, and familiarity with HR laws. Benefits include health and dental insurance and a 403b plan.

• They will possess excellent communication and computer skills and have an understanding of the payroll process and bookkeeping methods.
• Knowledge of HR laws and practices and ability to work in an office team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Complete and submit bi-weekly payroll and all federal/state tax payments.
• Report MainePERS monthly and manage deduction payments (bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Generate employment contracts and maintain employee leave balances; answer employee questions daily.
