Job summary

The Payroll Specialist at Ringling College of Art and Design will process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls in Workday, ensure accuracy, and reconcile payroll data for timely payments. The role supports HR operations, audits, and employee inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with federal and state laws.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting, business admin, HR or related field required.
• 3–5 years payroll/HR/administrative experience required.
• Experience with Workday payroll and ADP SmartCompliance preferred.
• Payroll/HR certifications (FPC, PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls in Workday and reconcile payroll data for accuracy.
• Assist with payroll audits and provide documentation as needed.
• Audit timecards, verify data, and respond to payroll inquiries from employees.
• Support HR operations, onboarding, and communications; handle records and invoicing as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with federal/state payroll regulations.
