Job summary

Justworks in New York is seeking a Director, Payroll Business Lead to own the payroll business line's revenue, margin, and growth plan.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives across Marketing, Technology, Operations, Product, Finance and Risk & Insurance, shaping pricing, monetization and expansion.

Reporting to the CMO, you’ll drive strategic decisions, build operating systems, and communicate outcomes with data-driven storytelling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience owning a business line or P&L
• Experience as a co-founder or GM with revenue responsibility
• Strong financial acumen including LTV, CAC, ARPC, pricing and packaging

Responsibilities

• Own the Payroll annual plan revenue, expansion, and margin commitments.
• Orient the business around LTV, ARPC growth, and Payroll's contribution to platform-level customer and revenue growth.
• Drive cross-functional execution across Marketing, Technology, Operations, Product, Finance, Revenue and Risk & Insurance.
• Land pricing and packaging into the financial plan, with new add-ons integrated into acquisition and expansion.
• Represent Payroll in platform-level and leadership forums with data-driven storytelling.
