About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist cum Accountant who can take ownership of payroll, compliance, forecasting, billing, AP/AR, and audit processes. Prior experience with a staffing company handling contingent workforce payroll will be highly preferred.

What Youll Do

Payroll & Compliance

• Process monthly payroll for employees & deputed workforce
• Calculate TDS, PF, ESI, PT, and ensure statutory compliance
• Guide employees on tax declarations and investment proofs

Forecasting & Fund Flow

• Contribute to monthly payroll forecasting & fund flow planning
• Support annual budgeting and manpower cost projections

Billing & Reconciliation

• Prepare client invoices based on workforce deployment
• Manage AR/AP, vendor payments, and payment follow-ups

Month-End Closures & Reporting

• Handle payroll accounting and financial reconciliations
• Generate tax reports, MIS, and compliance summaries

Audit & Documentation

• Support internal and statutory audits with complete records
• Maintain audit-ready payroll and financial documentation

What You Need

Passed CA Inter and not pursuing further certification
2+ years in payroll, accounting, AR/AP, and compliance (staffing industry preferred)
Strong grasp of corporate tax laws, salary taxation, TDS, and statutory payments
Hands-on experience with Excel, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar tools
Detail-focused, analytical, and maintains confidentiality
