Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and four years of experience.
• Experience with payroll operations, including journals, reconciliations and refunds.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal partners to ensure timely, compliant payroll processing.
• Experience with payroll costing and cost distributions in university environments.

Responsibilities

• Supports key payroll operations: prepare payroll accounting journals, reconcile vendor data, process refunds and overpayments.
• Review underpayments, contact departments on expired sponsored agreements, issue cost distribution notifications.
• Maintain end-user documentation for payroll costing functions and develop end-user training materials.
• Assist in reviewing payroll cost distributions in myUFL and transition to Workday with ERP changes.
• Support reconciliation of payroll processing and vendor payments and resolve related issues.
