Job summary

Qualdoc in Cocoa Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Accounting & Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing, accounting activities, and employee-related functions in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Accounting or related field required, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll functions, including preparation, balancing, internal controls, and payroll taxes.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, 401(k), garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
• Process weekly payroll for office and field employees.
• Provide assistance to Human Resources as needed.
• Process weekly employee expense reimbursements.
• File payroll taxes weekly, quarterly, and year-end, including processing W‑2s.
• Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
• Provide support to the Accounting Department.
• Download and upload data files weekly for health and dental insurance.
• Process company credit card transactions.
