The Payroll Coordinator assists with accurate and timely payroll processing for Greenwich House employees while ensuring compliance with organizational policies, collective bargaining agreements, and federal, state, and local wage and labor regulations. This role maintains employee payroll records, assists with audits, reconciles payroll and timekeeping data, and provides exceptional service to staff by responding to payroll-related inquiries. The Payroll Coordinator will work closely with the Payroll Manager, Human Resources, Finance, and departmental supervisors to ensure reliable, timely, and efficient payroll processes.
To support a successful transition into the role, on-site presence will be required for the first 4 to 6 weeks to complete in-depth training on Greenwich House's payroll processes, systems, organizational policies, and procedures. Following this initial training period, the Payroll Coordinator will work on a hybrid schedule, balancing on-site collaboration with remote work.
The expected hourly rate for this position is between $25-30 per hour. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of this posting and may be adjusted based on experience, education, and organizational needs.
