Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Payroll Coordinator responsible for timely, accurate processing and reconciliation of payroll checks. You will interact with HR, managers and staff regarding payroll issues and input/retrieve payroll data from the computerized system.

The role requires 2+ years payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and knowledge of wage/hour guidelines and healthcare pay practices, with effective communication across diverse age groups.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience.
• Proficient in 10 Key by touch and direct data entry.
• Strong general accounting background.
• Proficient with Excel or equivalent.
• Experience with Timekeeping System.
• Knowledge of Wage and Hour Guidelines and healthcare pay practices.
• High School Diploma.

Effectively interacts with the Human Resources department, managers and group staff regarding payroll issues. Input and retrieve payroll data from the computerized system. The Payroll Coordinator works with timekeeping system to ensure accurate time keeping. Has the ability to communicate with adolescence, adulthood, late adulthood to geriatrics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in Payroll.
• 10 Key by touch, direct data entry experience.
• General accounting background.
• Hands-on experience with Excel or equivalent.
• Experience with Timekeeping System.
• Knowledge of Wage and Hour Guidelines and Healthcare pay practices.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $26.04 to $34.91. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
