Job summary

Addison Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator in West Houston to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. You will process payroll for multiple pay groups, review data for accuracy, maintain employee records, and handle changes from new hires to terminations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on payroll processing experience with a strong understanding of payroll practices. UKG experience and global payroll exposure are highly preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll processes and procedures.
• UKG experience preferred.
• Global payroll experience preferred.
• Experience with multi-state payroll is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and timely for employees across multiple pay groups.
• Review payroll information for accuracy, including hours, deductions, bonuses, and other adjustments.
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure information is updated accurately.
• Process new hires, terminations, status changes, and other employee changes.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• Calculate and process payroll deductions, garnishments, and other adjustments.
• Assist with payroll tax filings and compliance requirements.
• Reconcile payroll reports and payroll-related accounts.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and employee information.
• Partner with HR and Accounting to resolve payroll-related issues.
• Assist with audits and payroll reporting as needed.
• Support international/global payroll processes, as applicable.
• Perform other payroll and accounting duties as assigned.
