Clune Construction is seeking a payroll professional to maintain and process payroll, monitor timekeeping data, and support audits. This employee-owned company offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

The role requires a BA or 1–3 years of payroll experience, with CPP/FCP certifications preferred. You will handle semimonthly and off-cycle runs, ensuring compliance with payroll policies and tax requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or 1-3 years of payroll experience required
• Fundamental Payroll Certification (FCP) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain payroll records by entering employee data and validating routine changes in the payroll system.
• Assist with semimonthly, weekly, and off-cycle payroll runs to support timely and accurate pay.
• Monitor time entered into timekeeping systems and flag routine exceptions before payroll processing.
• Support audit requests by gathering payroll records and documentation for internal or external review.
• Apply payroll policies and tax requirements during routine processing to support compliant payroll administration.
• Track benefit-related changes, including 401(k) and FSA updates, to support accurate payroll deductions.

Education

Salary Range: $59,000 - $85,000

The salary range listed reflects a broad scope of potential earnings for this position. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, and internal equity. Please note that it is not common for candidates to be hired at the top of the range.
