Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 24 credits in accounting and four years of accounting experience, including supervisory work.
• CPA license and 18+ months in a managerial accounting role acceptable for qualification.

Responsibilities

• Process varied payroll changes, night differentials, and longevity updates.
• Conduct weekly audits in NYCAPS and CHRMS for step increases and suffix changes.
• Handle payroll inquiries via calls and emails and supervise staff.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures for audits.
• Collaborate with other units to resolve payroll issues and train staff.
