Job summary

Prince William County Public Schools seeks a payroll professional responsible for the accountability of payroll and workers' compensation for all district employees. Under supervision, you will maintain complex payroll system tables and analyze processing issues to implement corrections.

In addition to semi-monthly payroll processing, you will submit numerous reports and payments to federal and state agencies, and to outside vendors for taxes, insurances, and other deductions and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accountability of payroll and workers' compensation for all Prince William County Schools employees.
• Maintains complex payroll system tables under supervision and analyzes processing problems and corrections.
• Submits reports and payments to federal and state agencies, vendors for taxes, insurances, and deductions.
• Works under tight deadlines with audits and both internal and external review.
