Qualifications

• Familiarity with Paychex or similar payroll services.
• Knowledge of payroll concepts for midsize to large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with Paychex & similar payroll service.
• Data entry and report creation.
• Timesheet review for completeness.
• Send reminders to timesheet approvers as necessary.
• Reconcile payroll to general ledger entry and disbursements.
• Calculate and reconcile special payroll items (advances, bonus, comp time).
• Set up and maintain direct deposit records.
• Handle basic workers comp payments/issues.
• All payroll, workers comp, employment reports to state.
• Respond to all information requests from departments.
• Assist in annual staff budget projections along with other duties as assigned.
