Good Day Farm is seeking a Payroll Support Specialist to ensure on-time, accurate payroll processing and compliance with regulations. The role supports 401(k) administration and payroll tax tasks across multiple entities.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with the payroll team and management.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of payroll experience required.
• Familiarity with payroll software and systems (UKG Ready preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and reviews payroll processing systems for timely and accurate payroll transactions (salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, deductions).
• Prepares and maintains records and reports of payroll transactions; analyzes earnings, deductions, and tax liabilities.
• Assists Payroll Administrator with processing payroll and ensuring timely payments.
• Ensures accurate processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes.
• Assists with garnishments, child support, and wage audits.
• Backs up for setting up payroll taxes and monitors payments with agencies.
• Maintains payroll reporting for general ledger entries.
• Assists with quarterly and year-end payroll audits, including W-2 reviews.
