• Monitor and ensure compliance with payroll regulations in the United States and Canada.
• Research, interpret, and communicate new payroll legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain payroll compliance calendars, filing schedules, and regulatory obligations.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, HR, and external service providers to implement compliance requirements.
• Ensure payroll policies, procedures, and controls remain current and aligned with applicable laws.
• Support Internal Audit, External Audit, SOX compliance activities, and regulatory examinations.
• Maintain documentation supporting payroll controls, audit evidence, and remediation efforts.
• Track compliance issues through resolution and provide executive-level status reporting.
