Job summary

Transdev Payroll Clerk in Spokane, WA assists the Contact Manager with daily payroll, benefits enrollments, and other clerical accounting functions. You will process new employee profiles, payroll entries, and related tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication and organizational skills, and solid MS Office literacy. This role offers a competitive benefits package and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Process new employee files/records and submits to the Contract Manager for approval.
• Calculate driver/staff payroll and input payroll information into the computer for processing.
• Accurately track attendance for permanent part-time employees.
• Responsible for fare Reconciliation and all deposits.
• Answer the phone and respond to customer inquiries.
• Distribute mail, prepare overnight packages, and maintain stamps and other mailing related supplies.
• Assist CM in accurately tracking OT for purposes of reducing/eliminating unnecessary and/or additional punch hours.
• Verify all standard hours to reduce any additional driver hours.
• All other duties as assigned.
