Job summary

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) is a plus.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • High school diploma required; associate degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or HR preferred.

  • Enter payroll data into the payroll system accurately and timely.
  • Process payroll changes such as new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and deductions.
  • Assist in preparing payroll reports and summaries for management and accounting.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation in an organized and confidential manner.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to reconcile payroll data and resolve issues.
  • Support audits and payroll-related compliance activities as needed.

Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team and support the accurate and timely processing of payroll. The Payroll Clerk will assist in collecting, verifying, and entering payroll data, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining employee satisfaction by ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.

Key Responsibilities
