Responsibilities

  • Process biweekly and/or semi-monthly payroll in accordance with policies and schedules.
  • Review and verify time records, attendance data, commissions, bonuses, and other payroll information.
  • Maintain payroll records, earnings, deductions, garnishments, direct deposits, and tax withholdings.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding paychecks, deductions, taxes, and procedures.
  • Assist onboarding by entering payroll and direct deposit information.
  • Prepare payroll reports and reconcile data with accounting records.
  • Assist with benefits deductions and payroll-related reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality of compensation and personal information.
  • Collaborate with HR and Accounting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support audits by providing payroll documentation.
