Job Summary:
The Senior Payroll Support role is a critical position focused on providing expert-level operational support and business analysis for payroll processes, specifically within Oracle HCM Cloud environments. This position acts as a subject matter expert and liaison between Payroll and HR Technology teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll operations through system enhancements, troubleshooting, and collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with HR Technology stakeholders and business users to gather, document, and analyze requirements for Oracle HCM enhancements and configurations.
- Support the design, testing, deployment, and implementation of Oracle HCM updates, integrations, and enhancements.
- Execute validation and testing activities for system migrations, upgrades, releases, and patches to ensure quality and minimize operational risks.
- Configure Oracle HCM elements in compliance with payroll tax regulations and industry best practices.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Oracle HCM system issues, data discrepancies, and complex user inquiries.
- Monitor Oracle HCM Cloud releases and assess impacts to current configurations and business processes.
- Develop and maintain application expertise, mentor team members, and serve as a recognized subject matter expert.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate solutions and ensure alignment with business requirements and downstream system impacts.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of payroll operations, payroll compliance, and business process analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- 8+ years of experience in payroll processing, payroll tax, finance, or related functions.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Experience supporting system implementations, integrations, upgrades, and testing activities.
Special Considerations:
