DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Payroll/Billing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the payroll and billing function in the finance department Working with the Human Resources team and Finance/IT, the Payroll/Billing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that systems are in place which provide for the most efficient and accurate flow of information and processing in all phases of payroll and billing administration; that employees receive a high level of customer service, guidance and assistance on payroll related issues.
Responsible for overseeing Accounts Receivable functions and data entry of cash receipts, monitoring the aging for collection purposes. Closing of the books monthly and balance to the general ledger.

EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience and 2-4 years experience in payroll administration required. Computer literate; demonstrated abilities in word processing and spreadsheets. Must be able to work as a part of a team.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, professional telephone skills. Ability to effectively present information to both internal and external customers, and to respond to inquiries from same.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required.
