Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field from an accredited four year university.
• 1–2 years of administrative, payroll, benefits, accounting, HR, or related experience preferred.
• CEBS, CPP and/or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Experience using Payroll and/or HRIS software or CEBS, CPP is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative and data-entry support for payroll, employee benefits, and related HRIS activities.
• Enter and maintain payroll and benefits data, deductions, benefit elections, and other adjustments.
• Review forms for completeness and route exceptions for review and approval.
• Assist with payroll preparation by collecting time and attendance data and completing payroll checklists.
• Support new-hire, employee-change, leave, and termination processing in payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems.
• Coordinate routine benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations and send notices and enrollment information.
• Serve as initial contact for routine payroll/benefits questions and refer complex matters to appropriate team member.
• Enter, review, and reconcile monthly benefit invoices and payroll deductions; identify discrepancies.
• Maintain benefit invoices, claims data, payment records, and employee files.
• Support annual open enrollment, benefit meetings, and related communications.
• Assist with COBRA administration and wage verifications as needed.
• Prepare routine ACA, payroll, benefits, audit, census, and compliance reports.
• Process employment verifications and wage verifications for claims using approved procedures.
• Provide administrative support for certified payroll and maintain records securely.
• Retrieve, process, and distribute departmental mail and assist with special projects.
