Job summary

The Village of St. Edward is seeking a Benefits Coordinator and Payroll to oversee payroll administration and benefits programs. This onsite, full-time role partners with Human Resources and accounting to ensure accurate processing, enrollment, and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years in payroll, 1–3+ years in benefits, and a bachelor’s degree in HR or accounting. Weekend/evening availability may be required to process payroll cycles.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience with knowledge of payroll and compliance regulations.
• 2-4 years’ payroll experience and 1-3+ years in benefits.
• Proficiency in payroll software; Paycom a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for all locations accurately and timely.
• Train managers and timekeepers on time and attendance software and approvals.
• Enrol new hires in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD and other plans timely.
• Assist open enrollment and benefits changes per plan policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll and HR data.
