Barber Ford in Holland, MI is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to manage payroll, benefits, and daily HR tasks. This full-time role requires meticulous handling of confidential information and collaboration with leadership.

Responsibilities include processing payroll, administering benefits, onboarding, and supporting accounting tasks. In-person, Monday–Friday schedule with standard 8-hour shifts; local commuting to Holland, MI is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of payroll, benefits, HR, or related experience.
• Experience with ADP or Paychex platforms.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Prior automotive dealership experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll including hourly wages and commissions.
• Administer employee benefits and enrollments.
• Maintain payroll and benefit records and documentation.
• Assist with onboarding, HR administration, and interviews.
• Provide payroll-related reports and assist with audits.
• Support accounting tasks when needed.
