Job summary

Ledgent-Finance- is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager to join its HR team in the Raleigh/Knightdale NC area. This role owns payroll and benefits administration across North America, collaborating with business leaders and vendors to ensure compliance and operating excellence.

Responsibilities include processing weekly/bi-weekly payrolls across states, managing benefits programs (US/Canada), ensuring HRIS data accuracy, supporting ACA and Form 5500 reporting, and coordinating with providers on

Qualifications

• Experience managing weekly/bi-weekly payrolls across multiple states.
• Experience administering U.S. and Canadian health and welfare benefits.
• Strong liaison with payroll providers and vendors.
• Knowledge of ACA and Form 5500 reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly/bi-weekly payrolls across multiple states and locations.
• Liaise with payroll vendors, oversee controls, filings, audits and updates.
• Administer U.S. and Canadian benefits programs, including renewals.
• Maintain HRIS data, enrollments, invoicing and vendor relations.
• Support benefits integration for acquisitions and growth.
• Administer retirement programs including 401(k) and pension plans.
• Collaborate with payroll providers and internal stakeholders for service.
• Prepare monthly workforce metrics and ACA/Form 5500 filings.
• Participate in special HR/payroll projects.
