CFS in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our people-first organization. You will own end-to-end payroll for ~300 employees and manage benefits programs, HRIS, and related compliance in a visible, impact-driven role.

You will collaborate directly with CHRO and leadership, ensuring accurate payroll, timely benefits administration, and proactive reporting to support HR operations and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of payroll, benefits, or HRIS experience in an analytical HR/finance environment.
• Hands-on payroll processing and HRIS data management (UKG preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory reporting.
• Excellent communication and customer service for employees and managers.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer bi-weekly payroll for ~300 employees, including commissions and bonuses.
• Administer comprehensive benefits programs, enrollments, deductions, vendor relationships, and employee support.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity, configurations, and workforce reporting.
• Lead compliance activities and audit preparation (ACA, 401(k), EEO-1, unemployment, workers' compensation, etc.).
• Serve as primary resource for payroll, benefits, HRIS, leave administration, and policies.
• Support annual open enrollment and benefits communications to boost employee engagement.
