Key Responsibilities For The Payroll & Benefits Specialist

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 500 employees, including hourly and salaried staff
• Manage payroll data integrity and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing through Paylocity
• Perform monthly benefits reconciliation and serve as the primary liaison with insurance carriers
• Resolve benefit discrepancies and ensure proper enrollment, deductions, and credits
• Maintain employee records, status changes, and payroll-related documentation
• Support workers' compensation administration, incident reporting, and compliance tracking
• Utilize advanced Excel functions including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, and data analysis
• Assist with process improvements that enhance payroll accuracy and employee experience

Qualifications For The Payroll & Benefits Specialist

• Minimum 2+ years of payroll experience
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• Experience processing payroll for 200+ employees required; 500+ employees strongly preferred
• Paylocity experience highly preferred
• Benefits administration and reconciliation experience required
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reporting functions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
