Job summary

Lawyers For Justice P.C is seeking an organized HR Generalist to join the People Team in Glendale. You will provide hands-on support across payroll, timekeeping, benefits administration, employee records, onboarding and offboarding, and HR administration.

The ideal candidate handles confidential information with discretion, supports managers and staff, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Hands-on payroll & timekeeping experience.
• Experience with benefits administration.
• Experience with 401(k) and retirement benefits.
• Experience with Paylocity or similar HR/payroll platforms.

Responsibilities

• Payroll & timekeeping: review timecards, assist with bi-weekly payroll, resolve discrepancies, maintain records.
• Benefits administration: health/dental/vision benefits, enrollment, Open Enrollment, 401(k) administration.
• HR administration: maintain HRIS records, onboarding/offboarding, HR paperwork, confidential files.
• Employee relations & HR support: advise employees and managers on HR matters, enforce policies, support engagement initiatives.
