Job summary

Everspring, a Chicago-based education technology leader, seeks a Human Resources Generalist to ensure precise payroll and benefits administration while supporting HR operations and employee relations. You will manage Paylocity, the HR inbox, and lifecycle processes, reporting to the Executive Director of Human Resources.

The role is located in Chicago with a hybrid schedule requiring three in-office days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of progressive HR experience in a mid-to-large organization.

Responsibilities

• Administer semi-monthly payroll processing and enroll benefits accurately.
• Manage day-to-day HR operations, records, and inbox triage with timely responses.
• Provide first-line employee relations support and coordinate performance/development processes.
• Own payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with the Executive Director of HR.
• Support onboarding, lifecycle events, HRIS updates, and policy communications.
