Job summary

Premium Guard, Inc. is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager in Memphis, TN. This hands-on role will own the end-to-end payroll, benefits administration, HRIS support, and compliance, collaborating with HR and Finance to ensure accurate and timely operations.

The ideal candidate will oversee payroll processing across hourly, salaried, and incentive populations, drive process improvements, and support compensation and benefits programs while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Own the payroll system and end-to-end payroll process.
• Oversee payroll processing for hourly, salaried, and incentive populations.
• Establish payroll controls, audits, and reconciliation procedures.
• Train site HR generalists on payroll processes and data accuracy expectations.
• Serve as escalation point for payroll issues, corrections, audits and complex transactions.
• Partner with Finance on reconciliations, reporting, and audit support.
• Drive automation and process improvements related to payroll and time-keeping.
• Oversee day-to-day benefits administration and vendor coordination.
• Support leave administration programs (FMLA, STD, LTD) with third-party admins.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and ensure confidentiality of information.
