We are currently seeking a Payroll & Benefits Administrator for one of our clients, working remotely from the United States. In this role, you will oversee and manage the entire payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payroll across multiple states. You will administer employee benefits programs, ensure compliance with payroll and benefits laws, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, especially Accounting, for month-end reporting. Your role will be crucial in improving payroll and benefits procedures, maintaining accuracy and efficiency, and providing excellent employee support. This position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Accountabilities
  • Manage the full payroll process, including timekeeping, garnishments, employee stipends, and W2 & 1095C processing across multiple states.
  • Administer benefits programs, including 401K enrollments, changes, terminations, and file feed management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and benefits regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team for accurate payroll data and reports during month-end closing processes.
  • Prepare and analyze payroll and benefits data, offering recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements
  • Expert proficiency in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a multi-state, high-volume payroll environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll and benefit laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
