Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Payroll Auditor to help our team by auditing payroll time punches, collecting timekeeping data, and ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced office environment. This at-will role requires attendance Mon–Fri with occasional weekends and involves updating payroll records and documenting discrepancies.

Ideal candidates will understand payroll principles, read and interpret policies, maintain confidentiality, and have experience with HRIS and payroll systems; knowledge of BOSS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, payroll laws, and system requirements.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Some knowledge of BOSS system, HRIS, and payroll systems.
• Must be detailed oriented and require minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collect and summarize timekeeping information.
• Audit time keeping records and resolve variances using Time/Attendance, Payroll, and ticketing systems.
• Obtain supervisor approval of timecard discrepancies.
• Update employee payroll records as needed.
• Document all discrepancies within timekeeping audits.
• Track and maintain records for analytics.
• Perform other work-related tasks as required.

Our Payroll Auditor position gives you an opportunity to help team members with your service mindset and your drive to be accountable to a team that’s counting on you. You’ll excel with organizational skills and commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced dynamic environment. This is an \"At-Will\" position that requires full attendance and punctuality Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed. Team members in this role prepare bi-weekly payroll information by entering payroll data to payroll system. Responsible for auditing payroll time punches and corresponding with employees and managers to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Collect and summarize timekeeping information.


• Audit time keeping records and resolves variances utilizing tools in the Time and Attendance, Payroll, and ticketing systems.


• Obtain supervisor approval of timecard discrepancies.


• Update employee payroll records as needed.


• Properly document all discrepancies within timekeeping audits.


• Track and maintain records for analytics.

• Must be detailed oriented and require minimum supervision.

Education and Specifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent


• 1-2 years of relative work experience in a payroll department or customer service.
