Job summary

Insperity is seeking an Associate Payroll Specialist to join our team. You will receive payroll information from clients and Payroll Specialists, input changes and terminations, and help maintain the integrity of client and employee data across payroll systems.

The role focuses on learning payroll tasks through Insperity training, with increasing complexity after six months in the role. A high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of payroll experience are required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years’ payroll or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains excellent customer service standards and ensures client satisfaction.
• Receives payroll information from clients or Payroll Specialists, processes payroll information and produces client specific payroll checks, invoices and standard payroll reports.
• Ensures accuracy of payroll input, balancing input to payroll worksheet and payroll reports to clients.
• Attends weekly department training meetings and reviews procedure manual on an ongoing basis.
• Establishes clear communications with client, employees and team members in order to better serve the client.
