Job summary

Pride Global is seeking a payroll professional in New York to process payroll for hourly and salaried staff, including wages, overtime, bonuses, taxes, garnishments and benefits. The role requires precise data entry and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle retro pay, time calculations, audits, and data accuracy checks, working across multiple payroll systems. Potential for temp-to-perm exists based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• True payroll processing experience REQUIRED.
• Strong analytical skills, especially with retro pay and time calculations.
• Flexible schedule required every other Friday: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Schedule: 5x7 |8:00 AM-4:00 PM (Flexibility Needed Every Other Friday)

Pay Range: $25–$30/hr W2

Potential: 8-Week Contract (Potential of Temp-to-Perm)

Job Description:

• Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees, including wages, overtime, bonuses, taxes, garnishments, and benefits.
• Perform retro pay and time calculations and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Maintain employee payroll and timekeeping records in HRIS/payroll systems.
• Process wage garnishments, payroll transfers, and benefit deductions.
• Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, and data accuracy checks.
• Support payroll compliance, tax reporting, and audits.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Work with multiple payroll systems simultaneously.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and leadership on payroll-related activities.

Required Qualifications:

• True payroll processing experience REQUIRED.
• Strong analytical skills, especially with retro pay and time calculations.
• Flexible schedule required every other Friday: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM or 10:00 AM–6:00 PM.
