Job summary

Watchtower Security LLC is seeking a Payroll & Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the bi-weekly payroll for all employees and handle core accounts payable tasks. The role reports to the Controller and collaborates with HR and vendors to ensure accurate, timely processing while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualified candidates will have a degree in accounting/finance and 2-5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of basic accounting

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 2-5+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience, including multi-state payroll.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Operations: process bi-weekly payroll for exempt/non-exempt employees, review timecards, handle payroll adjustments, garnishments, deductions, and tax levies.
• Accounts Payable: process vendor invoices, execute payments via ACH/wire/check, match POs, maintain vendor files, assist with 1099 reporting.
• Finance Support & Process Improvement: simplify processes, support month-end close, ensure policy compliance, participate in system enhancements, provide backup support.
