Job summary

Outfield Healthcare Partners seeks an experienced Payroll HR Coordinator to oversee payroll and HR functions for our Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing facilities. You will partner with Payroll, HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing and staff onboarding.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in healthcare payroll/HR, 1 year in a payroll or HR role, and strong knowledge of wage-and-hour laws, audits, and HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or a healthcare setting.
• 1 year of experience in a Payroll or Human Resources role.
• Experience managing payroll or HR functions in a multi-department environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, wage and hour regulations, audits, timekeeping systems, and payroll processing.
• Experience with payroll and HRIS systems is preferred.
• Leadership experience supporting, training, or mentoring payroll and HR staff is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support payroll system management and payroll processing across multiple departments.
• Assist with facility audits and payroll-related compliance.
• Provide employee support, onboarding, and orientation activities.

Payroll HR Coordinator

This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing while providing leadership, auditing, training, and operational support across multiple departments.

The Payroll HR Coordinator will partner closely with Payroll, Human Resources, Finance, and Operations teams to support payroll system management, facility audits, payroll processing, employee support, new hire onboarding and orientation, and staff training. This position helps ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor and payroll regulations while promoting operational excellence across the organization.
